On March 24, Autodesk launched the Extended Access Program to enable customers to use certain cloud collaboration products free, for commercial use. Due to the strong uptake we’ve seen for the program, and in recognition of the ongoing challenges customers continue to face, we are extending the duration of the program by an additional 30 days. BIM 360 Docs, BIM 360 Design, Fusion 360, Fusion Team, AutoCAD Web, AutoCAD Mobile, and Shotgun will continue to be available to customers for commercial use until June 30, 2020. We have no plans to extend the EAP beyond June 30, 2020.
The spirit of this program is to help customers adjust to remote collaboration needs in this difficult time, and customers should receive no pressure to purchase. Our priority is to ensure that customers have a positive experience with this program, whether they chose to become paid subscribers, or discontinue use of these products.
From now through the end of June, please reach out to customers you know are taking advantage of this offer to ensure we best support their short-term needs.
In the coming days, we will provide you with resources to help you support customers in the program with downloading their projects and data, or on the path to purchase, if they desire. These resources will be available on the COVID-19 sales resources page on One Team Source.
Customers participating in the Extended Access Program will receive notification of the program extension beginning on May 11 through email or in-product notifications, depending on the product. Further customer resources will be available on Autodesk Knowledge Network on May 11.
We recognize the COVID-19 situation will bring continued uncertainty around our industry. Autodesk will continue listening to customer feedback, and ensure we’re taking the steps necessary to support them during this challenging time.
